Kaan is an upcoming Tamil action film written and directed by Selvaraghavan. The film features Silambarasan, Taapsee Pannu and Catherine Tresa in the leading roles, while Jagapati Babu essays a supporting role.

The film's first look was released in June 2015, with reports suggesting that Silambarasan would portray a Murugan devotee.[6][7] By July 2015, Selvaraghavan revealed that the film was scheduled to release by December 2015 and that the producers had also planned an international version.[8] In a sudden turn of events in October 2015, Selvaraghavan put the film on hold until 2016, stating that financial restraints meant that the project was not viable.[8][9]
