Regina Cassandra and

Production
Vishal and
Pandiraj
announced that the would be collaborating for a film venture in May
2015, with the pair sharing production duties. An official statement
announced that work would begin on the film after Pandiraj had finished
work on two other ongoing ventures,
Pasanga 2 and
Idhu Namma Aalu.
[2] The first filming schedule began in July 2015, with
Catherine Tresa joining the team as the lead heroine after talks with
Keerthy Suresh were unsuccessful.

Kathakali in September 2015.
