Rudhramadevi is a 2015 Indian Telugu 3D historical film based on the life of Rudrama Devi one of the prominent rulers of the Kakatiya dynasty in the Deccan Plateau, and one of the few ruling queens in Indian history.[2][3] The film scripted, directed by Gunasekhar, and narrated by Chiranjeevi, features Anushka Shetty as Rudrama Devi,[4] alongside an ensemble cast of Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Vikramjeet Virk, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menen, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa.[5]\
Rudhramadevi was released worldwide on 9 October 2015 in Telugu, and was simultaneously dubbed into Hindi and Malayalam languages. Rudhramadevi dubbed Tamil[6] version will be released throughout Tamilnadu by Sri Thenandal Films on 16th October 2015.[7] The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by Ilaiyaraaja.[8] Upon release, the film received positive reviews, with critics praising the director's story telling ability, narration, background score, and Anushka Shetty's performance in the titular role, the film became the fifth highest open grossing Indian film of 2015.[9][10][11] The film has grossed thirty two crores worldwide in the opening weekend.[12][13]

Awesome movie. Allu Arjun once again nailed it. Anushka was looking damn hot in the movie.
