'Saigal Padukayanu' is a musical drama which tackles certain social issues too. The Hindustani music is a major theme in the film. The film also focuses on a major social issue faced by Kerala today.
'Saigal Padukayanu' revolves around Chandra Babu (Shine Tom Chacko), who has a great passion for music which he has inherited from his father. His father is a Muslim and mother is a Hindu.
Remya Nambesan plays Deepa, Chandra Babu's wife. Deepa is a woman who goes through difficult situations in life. Remya enacts the various stages in Deepa's life.
Sithara plays Sujatha, mother of Chandra Babu. The cast also includes Siddique, Madhupal, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Koottikkal Jayachandran, Harish Peradi, Meena Ganesh, Rajesh Sharma, and Divya.
'Saigal Padukayanu' is directed by Siby Malayil and scripted by T A Razak. M Jyachandran composes music for the lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmed.
