Jodi Nilavae
Singers: Anirudh, Dhanush, Shweta Mohan
Lyrics: Dhanush

Completely based out of strings, the cut-song with a symphonic twist is sensual and comforting. Piano portions and strings play around the same area. Little more of improvisation in the chord progression could have made the track a little more enterprising.

Tak Bak (The Tak Bak Tamizh)
Singers: Anirudh
Lyrics: Dhanush

Animating the intent of the song with the sprightly strumming of the acoustic guitars, Anirudh makes use of his flexible voice for this folk centric blues song possibly played in a carnival. Brass sections, Cajun and Dhanush backing the celebratory track, the song is also foot-tapping.

Oh Oh (The first love of Tamizh)
Singers: Anirudh, Dhanush, Nikhita Gandhi
Lyrics: Dhanush

Exploding with love, this rock song has Dhanush's voice reverberating quite like Yuvan’s. Sounding like the one from UK top 100, the guitars hold the core of the tune. Spaced out rhythms in the beginning of the song before the 4/4 comes is the only variety. The sudden change in the interlude shows Anirudh’s capacity before the song again jumps into same pattern.

Enna Solla (The new life of Tamizh)
Singers: Anirudh, Shweta Mohan
Lyrics: Dhanush

The only cinematic song of the album leaving out the independent musician in Anirudh to rest for a while, this Shweta Mohan number readily infects us with love and care. Kanjira, touching lyrics and the piano are a vintage Anirudh melody. Bringing the flute in the interlude with the strings getting plucked delivers an extra punch. Though the landing notes of the tune might remind us of Anirudh’s previous works, this composition shows maturity and clarity.

Verdict: A short feel good romantic album which might grow on you
